Wintour&Guinness: Victoria Beckham For British ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ May 2012

Bazaar was the first British glossy to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s metamorphosis from pop starlet to fashion force, and now for the second time she appears on our cover, as Jubilee fever fills the air.
For the May 2012 issue, dedicated to celebrating all that is great about Britain’s idiosyncratic cultural royalty, Victoria makes a fitting cover Queen.

Shot in L.A by Camilla Akrans, who describes Victoria as ‘an absolute sweetheart’, the super mother, business woman and fashion icon talks to Bazaar’s Deputy Editor, Sarah Bailey about juggling her roles as fashion designer and super mum to three growing boys and new baby daughter Harper Seven, how she feels about her body, "Maybe my tummy isn't as tight as it used to be, but I've got four amazing kids, and that's what really matters"  and what it’s like to go to bed with David Beckham. "Of course getting in to bed with David Beckham every night after having four kids, you know...[cue eye-roll of resigned self-deprication]- but I've come to the conclusion that David is getting older as well. I'm not trying to fight it."

Down to earth as ever Victoria recounts how she felt winning her 2011 British Fashion Award for Designer Brand of the Year, "I cried three times, I didn't thank the people I wanted to thank, I was really rubbish. But I think people saw the real me..." as well as why the family turned down the chance to move to Paris. "[It] would have been great career-wise...but the kids are really happy in LA"

The full interview is published in the May issue of Harper's Bazaar, and  goes on sale on Newsstands on Monday 2nd April 2012.
