Fashion's Night Out, the annual shopping festival headed by US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, is entering a whole new phase as designers and brands mark the occasion with bespoke, limited-edition pieces and this year US Vogue 's creative director Grace Coddington is getting in on the act with Parisian luxury label Balenciaga. The flame-haired Brit, who found fame in the hit behind-the-scenes at Vogue documentary -film The September Issue has taken inspiration from her cat, Pumpkin.
Drawings of her moggy modelling Balenciaga looks from the past decade feature upon the 'Pumpkin Papier' tote bag and two scarves, according to The Cut . Naturally, this being Balenciaga, it's not a $20 cotton bag affair; the canvas tote is trimmed with calfskin and will retail at $1,000 (£633), while the scarves, which come in both silk and wool, will cost $395 (£250) and $495 (£313) respectively. How exciting.
