This video is a must-see and not only because its roughly an hour of Anna Wintour talking. In 2000, the BBC profiled Wintour for a very ‘September Issue’-esque, documentary called Boss Women an there’s a lot of similarities in the way they edited both documentaries as they both focus on her steely determination and legendary work ethic. Also keep an eye out for the John Galliano, Tonne Goodman and Plum Sykes cameos throughout (I simply adore Plum - she lives in a completely different world to the rest of us)
“The clothes that people wear here during the day are the clothes that most people would wear on their most glamorous night of the year! Who else would wear a Dolce & Gabbana chiffon skirt like THIS to the office? Only me or only someone who works in Vogue, you know!“ Plum Sykes.
Fashion and styles have changed dramatically over the years but Anna's passion and dedication to her work and the fashion industry remains the same. She’s a visionary woman and a real champion for the industry. I only wish that she would inject a bit of youth into the magazine. It's getting a little Vanity Fair for my liking. But check out the video below.
