Anna Wintour famously said once that fashion is about looking forward, never back. And, whilst that is true - the fast world of fashion can sometimes be so bloody fast that when something amazing comes along, the next day its history. Something new comes along and the fickle world of fashion moves on to the next shiny thing. As I was flicking through some old magazines this morning, I caught a glimpse of the above bag and thought to myself that Anya Hindmarch deserved one more nod of appreciation. The Autumn Winter 2014 collection was spectacular and the iconography used on each of the pieces is so ubiquitous that it was sheer madness (in a good way) of Hindmarch to have thought to use them. But hey, the fashion industry was built by those who possess a touch of madness. The collection sold out instantly I believe from reading numerous reports but does that really surprise you? Check out a video of the presentation below and let me know what you think.
