WINTOUR&GUINNESS PRESENTS THE SUPER FASHION FILLED SEPTEMBER ISSUE OF HARPER'S BAZAAR AUSTRALIA FEATURING COVER STAR PENELOPE CRUZ & CARINE'S ICONS OF FASHION

There is nothing that excites me more than the release of a September fashion issue. Its when the editors pull out the heavy artillery and we, the readers get to see some of their most spectacular work displayed on each and every page.

According to Kellie Hush, editor-in-chief of Harper's BAZAAR Australia, the September issue is no doubt the highlight of my year. It is the culmination of a long journey that starts at the autumn/winter shows in February and ends in July as we send the files to be printed.

For Hush, the September issue is when she and her team look back on all that they have done in that time and deliver us, the readers the best edit of the new season and share some great stories about the inspiring people they met along the way.

One of the best parts of the new September issue of Harper's BAZAAR Australia is the Icons story, which can be found on page 151. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, BAZAAR'S Global Creative Director and shot by the fantastic Sebastian Faena, it is a testament to the global strength of the Harper's BAZAAR brand that so many fashion icons of today and yesteryear took part and the resulting shoot is one which will rightfully gain mass interest worldwide. Brooke Shields, Lady Gaga, Gigi Hadid and Stephanie Seymour are just some of the faces you will recognise wearing a range of designers from Tom Ford to Balmain and many more. Check out a small selection of images from the shoot below.

Harper's BAZAAR has been crafting exceptional issues over the last few years and with the appointment of Hush as editor-in-chief, it’s been very clear that Hush along with the BAZAAR team see the publication as Australia’s premier fashion publication. This month alone, there are pieces on Louis Vuitton's Nicolas Ghesquière, Coach's Creative Director Stuart Vevers, Decades owner Cameron Silver, Elle Macpherson and the fascinating Jason Lloyd-Evans to name but a few. Work like this far surpasses that of BAZAAR’s sister publications in the US or UK in my opinion.

It’s a fantastic issue and one the BAZAAR team should be thoroughly proud of. This weekend my friends, my boyfriend and my social life will have to step aside - I have a date with three hundred and six pages of pure fashion heaven. And I cant think of anything more exciting right now.
