This morning, like the speed of sound, there was a tsunami of activity on the internet after Victoria Beckham's collaboration with THE OUTNET was unveiled. As I am sure you are all aware, Beckham will be selling six hundred pieces from her own personal collection for mothers2mothers, a charity which is very close to Victoria's heart.
All proceeds generated from the sale of every piece, will go to mothers2mothers, an organisation that train, employ, and empower Mentor Mothers, who are mothers living with HIV, to work alongside doctors and nurses in understaffed health centres as members of the healthcare team. In one-on-one and group sessions, Mentor Mothers provide essential health education and psychosocial support to other HIV-positive mothers on how they can protect their babies from HIV infection, and keep themselves and their families healthy. Mentor Mothers’ ties to the community and first hand-hand knowledge of HIV makes them highly effective peer mentors.
People are urged to register early for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase pieces from Victorias personal wardrobe. The sale begins on the 20th August and I'm guessing it won't last that long, so get the credit cards at the ready. Check out the beautiful video below of Victoria explaining the reason behind the sale.
