Originally a scheme organised by Dublin City Councils Beta Project, you might have seen thee above and below works of art dispersed around the city recently. Dublin Canvas is rolling out their next phase of its city wide plan to spread a little more colour around Dublin and I for one couldn't be happier to see this happen. Traffic boxes are being painted around the city and its now starting to roll out into some Southside suburbs such as those around my neighbourhood of Rathmines and Ranelagh. Volunteer artists and illustrators including people such as Ruan van Vilet, Fuchsia MacAree, Hugh Madden and Anna Doran haven taken part and here is just a selection of those that I have come across. With Culture night occurring this evening in Dublin, its great to see Dublin getting so creative.

Make sure to check out Dublin Canvas at for more information.
